1. What is NEET-UG?

3. How many times can one appear for NEET-UG?

A) There is no limit for NEET-UG, candidates can appear any number times.

A) The minimum candidate age must be 17 years at the time of joining, and there is no maximum or upper age limit to eligible for NEET-UG 2020

5. With the NEET-UG score, can I join AIIMS and JIPMER or need to take an additional exam?

A) The only exam for MBBS/BDS/AYUSH is NEET-UG. It is the gateway for all Medical colleges across India. With the NEET-UG score, you can join AIIMS and JIPMER no need to take an additional exam.

6. Is English a must for those taking the exam in regional languages?

11. What are the documents required to fill the application for NEET-UG 2020?

A) The documents required to fill the application for NEET-UG 2020 are mentioned below

1. Educational certificates from 1st to 12th standard

2. Any one Identity proof such as Aadhaar number(last four digits), class 12 roll number issued by the board, election card, ration card, bank passbook with a photograph, passport number, etc.

i) PWD certificate issued by the competent authority(for persons with a disability only)

ii) Eight no of Passport size photograph with the white background (size:10kb to 200kb)

iii)Six no of Postcard size photograph with the white background (4”x 6”)(size: 50kb to 300kb)

iV)Mobile number, Mail ID, Bank account details.

12. How to apply for NEET-UG 2020?

A) NEET-UG 2020 can be applied through online only. An application can be downloaded from ntaneet.nic.in. 

13) Is it required to upload a passport size white background photograph with signature and date?

A) Passport size White background photograph without signature and date is acceptable from the year 2020.

14) How to change the personal data after submission of the application?

A) NTA will provide a correction window of 15 days every year after submission of the NEET-UG application form to correct mistakes or to change the general or personal data.

15) What is the mode of payment for NEET-UG 2020?

A) NEET-UG 2020 exam payment is through online only. The Candidates can pay through Debit/Credit/Net-banking/UPI.

16) How to cancel NEET-UG 2020 and refund fee?

A) Once NEET-UG 2020 application form uploaded successfully, cannot be canceled and once fee paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

17) Which details can edit through the correction window facility?

A) The candidate cannot edit all the fields from the NEET-UG 2020 application. The candidate can change or edit general and personal information like the choice of NEET-UG 2020 exam cities, birthplace, academic details, change of address, parental information, etc.,

18) Whom to contact if unable to download the hall ticket or admit card?

A) If the candidates face problem to download the hall ticket or admit card, must contact immediately to NTA (exam conducting body) through email at neetug-nta@nic.in

19)  If NEET-UG 2020 fee paid twice, one fee will be refunded?

A) Yes, If NEET-UG 2020 fee paid twice, one fee will be refunded automatically.

20. Who to contact if wrong details printed on NEET-UG 2020 hall ticket or admit card?

A) If wrong details of the candidate is printed on admit card or hall ticket must contact immediately to NTA (exam conducting body) through email at neetug-nta@nic.in

21. How to regain the lost application form number?

A) If NEET-UG 2020 application number is lost, go to the website of NTA, then open forget registration number link from current events, fill the details like candidate name, date of birth, category, and security code. The NEET-UG application number will be sent to the submitted email ID.

22. What is the entry time to the NEET-UG 2020 exam center?

A) NEET-UG 2020 exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm on 3rd May 2020. The NEET-UG 2020 exam center will be open from noon onwards. The last entry time will be at 1.30 pm. After 1.30 pm candidates are not allowed inside the examination center, and no candidate will be allowed to leave before 5pm.

23. What are the documents candidates must carry along with admit card or hall ticket?

A) The candidates are allowed to carry the following at the NEET-UG 2020 exam center

1) Passport size photograph affixed on the admit card.

2) One passport size photograph to be affixed on the attendance sheet.

3) Valid Original Identity proof and PWD certificate if applicable.

4) One postcard size(4”x6”) color photograph pasted on Proforma downloaded with admit card.

24. What is the dress code for NEET-UG 2020?

A) Dress code for boys/male

  • Plain half sleeve shirt and flat pocket regular pant. Fancy pants with zips, big buttons and elastics are not allowed.

  • In the case of traditional/cultural dress to wear, candidates have to mention while filling application and report the NEET-UG 2020 exam center on or before 12.30 pm to avoid inconvenience.

  • Slippers and sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not allowed.

  • Wristwatch, ear and finger rings, mobile, cooling glass, headphones, blue tooth, and any electronic gadgets are strictly not allowed.

 Dress code for Girls/female

  • Plain/light dress with half sleeve only allowed.

  • Fancy dress/heavy dress having buttons, embroidery work, and the full sleeve is not allowed.

  • Slippers and sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not allowed.

  • Ornaments such as earrings, necklace, chains, bangles, finger ring, etc. and 

Wristwatch, mobile, cooling glass, headphones, blue tooth, and any electronic gadgets are strictly not allowed.

25. What is the mode of the NEET-UG 2020 exam?

A) NEET-UG 2020 is an offline exam. Machine-readable paper and ball pen for bubbling will be provided by NEET-UG 2020 exam center, no need to carry pen.

26. Is there any change in the exam pattern of NEET-UG 2020?

A) No, as per NTA, the pattern of NEET-UG 2020 exam is the same as 2019.

27. Is there any negative marks for the wrong answer in NEET-UG 2020?

A) Yes, for every wrong answer I mark will be deducted (1 negative mark)

28. When will NEET-UG 2020 result be declared?

A) NEET-UG 2020 result will be declared on 04-06-2020.

29. Is the state merit list will declare with NEET-UG 2020 result?

A) No, NEET-UG 2020 result includes marks scored, percentile obtained, all India rank, and cut off marks only.

30. What is the NEET-UG counseling procedure?

A) NEET-UG 2020 counseling will starts in the second week of June 2020.MCC will start registering the eligible candidates. The procedure is as follows

1) The candidates who are eligible have to register online at www.mcc.nic.in.

2) First the candidates login to www.mcc.nic.in.

3) Fill the registration form available in it with Roll number, Registration number, Name, Date of birth, Parent names, and submit.

4) After submission, candidates must pay the below mentioned refundable and non-refundable fee online by credit/debit card or internet banking.

With the payment registration completed. After registration, candidates have to fill the required course and college/institute to get admission into the list of colleges displayed. The candidates can choose any number of colleges. After selecting the colleges, it is advisable to lock them, to get some colleges at the time of seat allotment.

Seat allotment list will be released, and the seat allotment letter will send to successful candidates after each round of counseling. Seat allotment letter is a must along with other compulsory documents at the time of joining to the allotted college.
